The mission of Lindsay United MC is the same mission Jesus gave his followers: Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, Son and Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I have commanded”. [Matt 28:18-20] They further embrace the portion of the UMC missional statement that recognizes that the most important work of the denomination is the work of the local church. Local churches and extension ministries of the Church provide the most significant arenas through which disciple-making occurs.
